Student Visionaries Competition

How It Works:

  • The Student Visionaries Competition is designed to give learners a platform to express their ideas, showcase their talents, and inspire change. The process works as follows:

  • Competition Announcement – Each year, a competition date is announced informing students on competition's themes, criteria, requirements, terms and conditions.
  • Call for Entries – Students from high schools and tertiary institutions are invited to register and submit their innovative ideas or projects.
  • Submission & Screening – Entries are reviewed by mentors and judges to ensure alignment with the competition’s themes and criteria.
  • Workshops & Mentorship – Shortlisted participants receive guidance, training, and mentorship to refine their projects and presentation skills.
  • Presentation Stage – Students present their ideas before a panel of judges and peers, showcasing creativity, problem-solving, and leadership potential.
  • Recognition & Awards – Winners are awarded with certificates, prizes, and opportunities for further development, while all participants benefit from exposure, feedback, and networking.

How It Works:

  • The Student Innovation Challenge is a platform that empowers learners to tackle real-world problems with bold, creative solutions. The challenge unfolds in the following steps:

  • Theme Announcement – Each year, a specific theme or set of pressing challenges is shared, guiding students to design solutions that matter.
  • Idea Submission – Learners register and submit their innovative concepts, prototypes, or project proposals.
  • Screening & Selection – A panel of judges and mentors reviews submissions, shortlisting the most promising and impactful ideas.
  • Mentorship & Development – Shortlisted students receive coaching, technical support, and mentorship to refine their solutions and strengthen their presentation skills.
  • Pitch & Showcase – Finalists present their innovations to judges, peers, and potential partners in a public showcase event.
  • Recognition & Opportunities – Winners gain awards, resources, and pathways to scale their ideas, while all participants benefit from mentorship, exposure, and networking.
